Happy Grandparents Day, sweet friends!

Have you ever heard of Grandparents Day? Honestly, I didn’t even realize this holiday existed until recently—but how fun is that??

As many of you know, my husband and I are grandparents to two precious little ones. Our granddaughter is three-and-a-half, and our grandson is just six months old. And like so many of you warned me…we just LOVE being grandparents!

I’ve shared our granddaughter’s story before. She was born early, spent time in the NICU, and was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Her diagnosis primarily affects her legs, and ever since then, I’ve prayed a very specific prayer: that one day she would be able to walk—all on her own.

She’s a happy little girl who crawls everywhere, zips around in her wheelchair, and is so excited about getting a new walker soon. But a few weeks ago, something incredible happened - she took her very first unassisted steps. Even as I write this, I tear up thinking about that miracle moment.

I love to learn lessons from older wiser mentors, but I'm realizing this brave little darling girl is teaching me so many things, too...
