This past weekend was a sweet and special one for our family. We took a little trip from Vancouver Island over to the mainland to celebrate a big milestone—my husband’s graduation! 🎓

After five years of slow and steady work (one course at a time while also working full-time), he has now completed his Master of Arts in Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care. It was such a lovely day of celebration, and I just had to share it with you, too—especially since many of you have been cheering him on behind the scenes. Thank you! 💙

His final project included a podcast series all about loneliness—how it affects us and how we can respond with compassion and care. If that topic speaks to you, I’d love to invite you to take a listen.

Before the big shutdown of 2020, I remember grabbing a kids’ watercolor set very intentionally. Every day, I’d sit at the table, swish my brush in the water, and paint a little something. It became a peaceful, creative rhythm in uncertain times.
